Holy shit, this was good! Craving Constellations is one hell of a debut novel from Nicole Jacquelyn. Brenna’s story is heartbreaking, and yeah, I came really close to crying at more than one point, which I do NOT do. It started heavy and just kept going. The start of the story drops you right into her flight from her abusive husband. When she gets back to the MC home she grew up in, she has to deal with the secrets she has kept from her father, the club, and Dragon. The reader is then led through a crazy shit storm of events, some of which went right to that edge of could go too far, but then stopped at just right, leaving me feeling totally satisfied with the event and outcome.
Dragon, yyyuuummm, is a sinfully sexy bad boy alpha biker to the nth degree. Of course, regardless of the hotness, he does have a few asshat moments, and by asshat, I mean biggest jerk on the planet. But, he wouldn’t be an alpha male if I didn’t have at least one moment where I thought that. Ultimately, I felt he was the perfect match for Brenna, who, by the way, was completely the shit.
Craving Constellations is now on my top ten favorite MC books. Read this! You know you want to.

Holy debut greatness! In my effort to clear out my TBR between blog tours and ARC reviews, I started this book without really knowing what this book was about. A friend told me to one click it because she thought it was my kind of book. AND IT SO WAS! Craving Constellations is an amazing debut novel. It’s an amazing novel. Period. The story is chock full of all the things that give me a book hard on. Alpha male? Check. A motorcycle club? Check. Interesting plot? Check. Sexual chemistry? Check. In spades. Likable cast of characters? Check. Cool heroine? Check.
Nicole Jacquelyn has a really great writing style. The book moved at a great pace and had just the right amount of drama, heartache, and love. Her descriptions of people and emotions puts you right there- in the story- and I couldn’t stop reading. And while I want more and I will be snapping up the next book in the Aces series immediately upon its release, Brenna and Dragon’s story wrapped up beautifully.
How could someone make decision after decision attempting to get away from their past and somehow end up right back where they started?
When Brenna decided to leave the only life she’d ever known, she swore she’d never go back. Now, five years later, she’s running from her clean-cut husband straight back to the motorcycle club that raised her… and the man she left behind.
She left with a secret, and the truth will soon break her carefully constructed life wide open.
Warning: This book contains graphic sex and language, domestic abuse, and the loss of a child. It is meant for mature audiences.
